Convened by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dcrc.org.uk\/people\/judith-aston\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Judith Aston<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dcrc.org.uk\/people\/dr-sandra-gaudenzi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sandra Gaudenzi<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dcrc.org.uk\/people\/mandy-rose\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mandy Rose<\/a>,\u00a0and hosted by UWE Bristol\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dcrc.org.uk\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Digital Cultures Research Centre<\/a>, i-Docs 2016 will be held at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.watershed.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Watershed<\/a>\u00a0in Bristol\u2019s Harbourside\u00a0on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 2nd \u2013 4th March.<\/p>\n<p>We\u00a0will be joined by keynote speakers including\u00a02015 Tribeca Storyscapes award-winners <strong>May Abdalla and Amy Rose<\/strong>\u00a0aka\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/weareanagram.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Anagram<\/a>, \u00a0<strong>Patricia Zimmermann\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>co-author of \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.palgrave.com\/page\/detail\/thinking-through-digital-media-dale-hudson\/?isb=9781137433619&amp;loc=uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Thinking Through Digital Media<\/a>,\u00a0<strong>Chris Sizemore<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/commissioning\/online\/articles\/iwonder\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Executive Editor BBC<\/a>, and\u00a0<strong>Vassiliki Khonsari<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Executive Producer<a href=\"http:\/\/inkstories.com\/1979RevolutionGame\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00a0iNK Stories\u00a0\u2013 1979 Revolution<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s symposium will focus on three themes that reflect key developments in the field:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Machines for Thinking<\/li>\n<li>The Uses of Immersion<\/li>\n<li>Evolving Practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We welcome proposals for panels, papers, case studies and alternative forms of debate that cover (but are not limited to) these themes.
